Transform inertia into insight
Inner Insight Journeys are part therapy, part coaching, and a huge part personal development and psychological release.

Many clients come in with a nagging feeling that something is off, but aren't quite sure what it is exactly or what to do about it.
Using a combination of modalities like Internal Family Systems, Somatic Experiencing, and Integrative Gestalt Coaching, we identify what issue we need to really resolve, figure out underlying beliefs or emotions that block its resolution, and develop a plan to release that energy.

After only one session, many folks leave mentally lighter, with a deeper understanding of themselves, and with real action steps to resolve their issues.

What a session involves
Each of our sessions will vary based on what's alive that day, but we often go through 3 phases:
1 / Creating Clarity
Oftentimes, we have a vague feeling that something is off, but aren't clear on exactly why we feel that way. In these scenarios, simply becoming aware of why we're feeling off shifts us to a more empowered, capable state.

For example, a common pattern for high performers is to feel a constant background hum of anxiety. On the surface level, they think this is because of deadlines at work. But with guided reflection, they might realize the root issue is something different, like guilt at not spending sufficient time with friends or family.

In the first part of most sessions, we'll explore what's present in your world today and clarify what we want to clear up.
2 / Releasing Emotion, Uncovering Hidden Beliefs
Then, we explore the issue in-depth. We create a safe container to understand the emotions, behaviors, and patterns that are coming up, and compassionately examine why they might be coming up.

This phase often feels tremendously therapeutic, because emotions that normally subconsciously repressed are given space to express themself. Or even if emotion isn't repressed, simply having a dedicated container to hear out each emotion gives it space to release.
​
Additionally, through this process, we will often identify subconscious limiting beliefs and hidden behavior patterns. For many clients, identifying these beliefs is highly empowering, because they can then consciously release them.
3 / Integrating Insight
After we have resolved the root issue, we identify how to bring our new insight into everyday life. Habits and identity can have a lot of inertia to them, but using our understanding of psychology, we can hack lasting change in.

For example, let's say a client realized the reason they were feeling stuck was due to them not exploring their creative side. Over the course of a session, they might have realized they lacked inspiration in their current life. In integration, we might explore what has triggered inspiration in the past and identify how to sustainably bring some of those triggers back into the present.

This transforms temporary insight into actual life changes, and sets you up for continued happiness in your life well after the session ends.
